Summer Opportunities 2009

The Rowdy Ridge Gang Camp is a summer camp program for adult women and their children, ages 1 to 17. The 2009 camp season will run from Saturday, June 27th through Friday, July 31st 2009. We are located in the San Gabriel Mountains (90 minutes north of Los Angeles). Women are graduates from substance abuse treatment programs and survivors of domestic violence who continue to participate, along with their children, in aftercare programs and support groups. This year, The Rowdy Ridge Gang Camp will serve approximately 500 campers over a seven-week period consisting of six camp sessions.

The goal of the camp is to provide a fun-filled, safe, memorable, and educational experience to these families. To achieve this we require a very caring and energetic staff dedicated to enriching the lives of these families. Working in a summer camp setting requires staff members who are team-players, creative, friendly, cooperative, hardworking, flexible, and responsible.
